Week 11 on the NFL schedule is filled with games featuring huge long-term implications on the 2024 season, and it all starts on “Thursday Night Football” when first place in the NFC East will be on the line. The Washington Commanders are set to visit the Philadelphia Eagles for their first division matchup of the year right as both teams have emerged as NFC contenders.
The Eagles (7-2) enter on a five-game winning streak that pushed them past Washington in the standings following last Sunday’s 34-6 blowout road win against the Dallas Cowboys. Jalen Hurts has found his groove alongside Saquon Barkley on offense, and the defense has held five-straight opponents under 300 yards of offense for the first time since 2008.
The Commanders (7-3) lost a late lead in their 28-27 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10 and will need to overcome a banged-up roster that’s feeling the effects of having no bye yet and a game on short rest. Running back Brian Robinson, new cornerback acquisition Marshon Lattimore, kicker Austin Seibert and multiple starting offensive linemen are among those listed on the team’s injury report this week. Their availability could dictate Thursday’s outcome, although quarterback Jayden Daniels is expected to play.
Here’s how to watch the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles play one of the most meaningful “Thursday Night Football” games of the 2024 NFL season:
