The Detroit Lions will host the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving, as Week 13 of the NFL season brings two NFC North rivals together for the traditional Turkey Day game at Ford Field on Thursday.

The Bears (4-7) will kick this game off hoping to halt a five-game losing streak that has spoiled what was a good start to the season. Chicago has been getting closer, with the margin of defeat in the team’s past two games sitting at just four points. Last week, an incredible fourth-quarter comeback attempt saw the Bears score 10 points in the game’s final 22 seconds to force overtime, only to lose 30-27 to the Minnesota Vikings. A week earlier, Chicago lost to the Green Bay Packers by just one point, with a potential game-winning field goal being blocked with three seconds to go.

The Lions (10-1) are very much going in the other direction. Detroit hasn’t given up a touchdown in more than nine quarters, a run that was extended in a dominant 24-6 Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Leading the way, Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for two touchdowns, while the team’s defense forced the Colts to punt six times. Detroit’s nine-game winning streak has proven crucial, with Minnesota and Green Bay close behind at the top of the division.
