Three MetroWest-based public high schools are among the top 100 in the nation, according to recently released U.S. News & World Report rankings for the 2024-25 school year.
More than 17,000 schools nationwide were ranked on six factors — college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rate — based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
Locally, the Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School (AMSA), a Marlborough charter school founded 20 years ago, ranked fourth in the state; Hopkinton High School was seventh; and Dover-Sherborn Regional High School was eighth.
