Donald Trump’s recent foray into fragrances has attracted significant attention, adding to a growing catalog of unconventional merchandise. The former president, who is well-known for his branding endeavors, debuted a collection of colognes in addition to Bibles, guitars, and sneakers. These releases coincide with growing legal expenses that have topped $500 million.

Bold Scents Reflect Political Branding

Trump’s colognes, marketed under the names “Fight Fight Fight” and “Victory,” target consumers seeking products embodying resilience and confidence, according to The Guardian’s report. The “Fight Fight Fight” scent was described as bold, with “rich, robust notes” symbolizing determination. The scent was inspired by Trump’s previous statements.

At $119, the “Victory” fragrance came in ornate packaging. Its gold bottle top, which featured Trump’s picture, emphasized the luxury of the branding. Its allure to “movers, shakers, and history makers” was highlighted in marketing. The cologne was really expensive, yet it sold very fast.

A Trump-endorsed fragrance for ladies was said to inspire “strength and grace.” Like its predecessors, it sought to link Trump’s political character to his personal scent.

Expanding Merchandise Portfolio

Trump’s line of colognes comes after a number of high-profile product introductions this year. He has previously recommended the $59.99 “God Bless the USA” Bible. Critics accused the product of “blasphemous commercialization,” citing the Bible as the source of the backlash. Religious authorities questioned whether it adhered to Christian principles, the Guardian’s report stated.

The “Never-Surrender High-Top Sneakers,” which were deemed garish by reviewers, were among the other offerings. Reactions to Trump’s branded timepieces, which can cost up to $100,000, were equally conflicting. Significant profits, including $399,000 from shoes and $300,000 from Bibles, were disclosed in the financial statements.

Controversial Guitar Sales Halted

There were legal obstacles to Trump’s musical instrument business. Gibson issued a cease-and-desist order after he displayed his $11,000 guitars with the motto “Make America Great Again.” The massive guitar manufacturer claimed trademark infringement, pointing to resemblances to its famous Les Paul design, the report stated.
