MIAMI, Fla. — FIU’s 27th-ranked tennis program is set to host the 2024 Conference USA Tennis Championships April 18-21 at its brand-new facility on campus.

The defending-champion Panthers will welcome eight other CUSA institutions to ‘The 305’ this weekend with the winner earning CUSA’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. 

FIU, which is currently undefeated at home and riding a 15-match win streak, will look to repeat as CUSA Champions and take home the program’s third-overall CUSA title. Last season, the Panthers cruised to a 4-1 victory over Rice in the Championship Match to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the 12th time in program history.

The Panthers will await the winner of the 8-9 match between Sam Houston and UTEP on Thursday, April 18. The quarterfinal rounds will be Friday, April 19 with two matches happening simultaneously at 10 a.m. ET and then again at 1 p.m. ET. 

Both semifinals on Saturday, April 20 will occur at 11 a.m. ET. The 2024 CUSA Championship Match is slated for 10 a.m. ET on Sunday, April 21.
