The United States and G7 on Thursday (Jul 11) condemned Israel for legalising five outposts in the West Bank. The US earlier announced that it would provide the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank with an additional $100 million in humanitarian assistance. Meanwhile, Russia officially labelled opposition figure Yulia Navalnaya as ‘extremist and terrorist’. The development comes two days after a Moscow court issued an arrest warrant against the opposition figure. In other news, India’s chief opposition leader Rahul Gandhi shared a video of the Manipur crisis and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the state which has been marred by ethnic violence.
