Julian Edelman tells us about teaming up with Jameson to try and convince the NFL to bring a game out to Dublin in the near future.
The NFL kicks off an intriguing Week 3 with a classic AFC East battle, with the New York Jets hosting the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium.
The Jets were likely hoping that Aaron Rodgers‘ return from a torn Achilles would open things up on offense, but after two games, the returns have been mixed. While the veteran quarterback has a 3:1 touchdown/interception split, New York’s total yards from scrimmage and first downs rank near the bottom of the NFL. The Jets fell 32-19 to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, but rebounded last week in a hard-fought 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans.
New England will also enter this Week 3 clash with a 1-1 record, but the early signs have been a bit more promising. The Patriots pulled off a stunner to open the season, winning 16-10 on the road against the heavily favored Cincinnati Bengals. Week 2 came with a 23-20 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but with Rhamondre Stevenson starting the season in good form (201 yards, 2 touchdowns), it looks like 2024 could be a step forward after last year’s woeful 4-13 season.
