There was a lot to look at during the US Open this week—a few greats attempting to reclaim their titles (go Coco!), so-fast-you-can’t-see-’em serves, and surprising celebrity sightings (um, how’s it going, Alec Baldwin?).
And in keeping tradition with previous US Open tournaments (and tennis’s long fashion-centric history in general), players hit the court serving aces and looks. Here are some of the boldest, most colorful outfits we saw at this week’s big party in Flushing, Queens, to add to your court mood board.
After a frustrating, tearful exit from the 2024 Olympics just a month prior, Coco Gauff hit the US Open court on Day 1 ready to reclaim her 2023 women’s singles crown in a custom yellow-and-cornflower-blue New Balance kit. Judging by her accessories, Gauff has put her Paris upset behind her (or come to terms with it): She wore an Olympic rings necklace while clinching a win over France’s Varvara Gracheva to move to the next round.
