Bills hand Chiefs their first loss, Steelers atop the AFC North
Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the top storylines from Week 11 in the NFL.
Sports Seriously
So far this season, the AFC South has been the Houston Texans (7-4) and everyone else. The division leader will attempt to create a bigger lead when the Tennessee Titans (2-8) come to town.
Like most games this season, Tennessee hung around and had a shot of making it a game, but ultimately didn’t do enough. The Titans didn’t let the Minnesota Vikings beat them down but were unable to avoid another loss. With the season lost, Tennessee is pretty much competing with Jacksonville for the top pick in next year’s draft.
Houston can call themselves the Texas state champions after taking down the Dallas Cowboys. It wasn’t pretty, but it snapped the Texans out of its little slump. The win could help them get back on track toward locking up the division and ensuring their playoff spot.

FEELING LUCKY? Here are the best parlay bets and odds for NFL games this week
Browns vs. Steelers | Panthers vs. Chiefs | Bears vs. Vikings | Texans vs. Titans | Colts vs. Lions | Dolphins vs. Patriots | Giants vs. Buccaneers | Commanders vs. Cowboys | Raiders vs. Broncos | Packers vs. 49ers | Seahawks vs. Cardinals | Rams vs. Eagles | Chargers vs. Ravens
It’s hard to back the Titans these days, even though Tennessee did keep things competitive against the Vikings deep into the third quarter. Houston is simply rolling and faring far better now that Nico Collins has returned.
Joe Mixon has found a new home in H-Town. Mixon’s on pace to have his fifth 1,000-yard rushing season. The Texans are creating separation between themselves and their AFC South rivals.
Houston looks like it’s back in business, so I like the Texans, the points and the over in this one.
Houston has played some inconsistent ball recently, and Tennessee is capable of giving the Texans fits. But there’s still too much talent in Houston to fall against Tennessee. The Texans may finish the season with a perfect record against division opponents.
