It’s anyone’s guess as to who is going to claim the NFC South, but two teams will try to get a leg-up on each other in Week 6 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) facing the New Orleans Saints (2-3).
A Thursday night thriller didn’t fall in Tampa Bay’s favor when the Atlanta Falcons came from behind to stun the Buccaneers behind Kirk Cousins‘ sensational performance. The Buccaneers could’ve given themselves a sizable lead in the division, but now they have to try and hold serve on the road.
The fantastic start in New Orleans has quickly dissolved into a three-game losing skid. Not only has the magic worn off, but there’s now questions at quarterback after Derek Carr was injured against the Kansas City Chiefs. He won’t be playing, so the Saints need to regroup fast to avoid another loss.

Seahawks vs. 49ers | Bears vs. Jaguars | Ravens vs. Commanders | Packers vs. Cardinals | Patriots vs. Texans | Saints vs. Buccaneers | Eagles vs. Browns | Titans vs. Colts | Broncos vs. Chargers | Raiders vs. Steelers | Panthers vs. Falcons | Cowboys vs. Lions | Giants vs. Bengals | Jets vs. Bills
This is a tricky game to pick; both squads are division rivals familiar with each other, they’re both mercurial. But New Orleans has dropped three games in a row and Derek Carr is expected to miss multiple games.
In advance of Hurricane Milton, the Bucs decided to leave for New Orleans on Tuesday. The Tampa Bay area has already seen damage from Hurricane Helene. Maybe the Bucs will use the forces of Mother Nature as a rallying cry. The Saints have lost three straight games after beginning the season 2-0.
Derek Carr missing this week spells big trouble for a New Orleans team that needs to be jumped. Tampa Bay gets the bad taste out of its mouth win a win.
