India

The hosts USA, who were ignored by the pundits when it came to predicting the teams making it to the Super 8 round, shunned the cricketing world when they beat Pakistan. 

The positive for the United States is that the players have not succumbed to the status of the opposition and played according to the situation, which helped them against Pakistan. 

Even in their opening match against Canada, they chased down the target of 195 courtesy of Aaron Jones and Andries Gous. 

The hosts would rely on skipper Monank Patel who scored a fifty against Pakistan and also, Aaron Jones and Gous to give them the runs against a strong bowling unit India have.
