Steelers at Eagles: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 15 game

When the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) and Philadelphia Eagles (11-2) meet, it will be for more than just bragging rights in the Keystone State; it will be to prove they are a Super Bowl contender.

Just two weeks after the Cleveland Browns shocked them, the Steelers returned the favor by taking down the AFC North rival in front of their home crowd. Pittsburgh looked very much like itself with the defense carrying the day and the offense putting together some great drives. Now the Steelers are one win away from clinching a playoff spot.

Philadelphia was expected to beat the Carolina Panthers, but not many people expected it to be as close as it was. Now there’s some reported issues with Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown that are getting in the way of a great season so far. Maybe winning can’t fix everything, but a big showing could perhaps put away any tension going on.

Lorenzo Reyes: Steelers 24, Eagles 20

This is going to be a fascinating matchup, and a fun one, with the in-state rivalry. I don’t feel super confident about this, frankly, but I think the Steelers can slow Philadelphia’s rushing attack. If that happens, I can see the Steelers pulling off the upset.

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 25, Steelers 21

Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown are apparently at odds despite the team riding a nine-game winning streak. The Eagles are the most talented team in the NFC but internal dysfunction can be the team’s fatal flaw (again). Winning does tend to cure things.

Richard Morin: Steelers 26, Eagles 24

I think Mike Tomlin is putting on a coaching masterclass this season. He’ll win this coaching battle against Nick Sirianni.

Jordan Mendoza: Eagles 23, Steelers 19

Philadelphia will need to wake up this week after the last game didn’t look like a Super Bowl contender. Pittsburgh’s defense presents a great challenge for the Eagles, but the Eagles have proven they can perform in big games this season. The Eagles take control of the state.
