SIMONE Biles has responded to an NFL Pro Bowler after he criticized her gesture after the women’s floor exercise final on Monday.

Baltimore Ravens star Marlon Humphrey took issue with the US seven-time gold medalist Biles and her teammate Jordan Chiles for praising Brazil‘s Rebeca Andrade on the podium in the Paris Olympics.

Biles received the silver, and Jordan got the bronze. They bowed down to Andrade, who won her first gold medal of the summer.

Shortly after the sequence, Humphrey revealed his feelings on the US gymnasts hailing the Brazilian.

“This is literally disgusting,” Humphrey wrote in a SportsCenter post, displaying when Biles and Chiles showed their love for Andrade.

On Tuesday, Biles appeared on the Today show and defended her decision while applauding Andrade.

“I think it’s all about sportsmanship, and we don’t care whether we win or lose,” the 27-year-old said.

“We’re always going to keep a good face and support our competitors because they’ve worked just as hard as we have for that moment.

“You have to give them their flowers and that’s exactly what me and Jordan were doing.

“We were so happy for her.

“She deserved it, she had the best floor routine of the day, and of the Olympics.”

Andrade’s gold medal was the second of her Olympic career.

Chiles received her first career medal after inquiring about her own score.

She originally placed fifth but submitted a challenge to judges and received a tenth back on her final score as a skill in her Gogean routine, a split leap with a 1.5-turn, was originally not credited.

Chiles’ score change caused the 18-year-old Romanian Ana Barbosu’s third-place finish to change to placing fourth – meaning she wouldn’t receive a medal.

Barbosu was seen sobbing on television while Chiles jumped up and down and hugged her teammate Biles following the score change.

During Biles’ floor routine, she stepped out of bounds twice but stuck the landing on the Biles I.

The US gymnast opened up about her day and overall Olympic performance.

“Today has been absolutely wild,” Biles said.

“I’ve accomplished way more than my wildest dreams, not just at these Olympics but in gymnastics … competing and then walking way with four medals, I’m not mad about it.

“I’m pretty proud of myself.”
