Bills secure AFC East, Ravens continue with self-inflicted wounds
Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the top storylines from Week 13 in the NFL.
Sports Seriously
The NFC West might be the weakest division in the NFL, but it’s still hotly contested with only two games separating first place from last place in the division. The top two in the division will face each other this weekend as the Seattle Seahawks will host the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.
These two teams played each other just two weeks ago, with Seattle dominating the contest, holding Arizona out of the end zone entirely. However, the Cardinals are a resilient team. No one expected them to compete for a division title, yet here they are. Of course, a loss in this contest would devastate the Cardinals’ hopes of a playoff berth. Losing the season battle against Seattle and falling a game back of the Seahawks would give them every advantage over Arizona. The Cardinals need to pull out all the stops if they want any hope of winning the NFC West.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 14 showdown.

I really like the Seahawks in this spot, particularly because, just two weeks ago, they topped the Cardinals by 10 points. That game was in Seattle and this week’s is in Glendale, but the Seahawks did an excellent job of containing Kyler Murray, limiting him to only nine rushing yards.
This NFC West battle might be the game of the week. These two clubs are both in contention for a division title. The Seahawks beat the Cardinals in Seattle. The Cardinals hope to return the favor in their house.
This game will be huge in determining how the NFC West shakes out, especially with the Rams hosting the Bills in the same time slot. Arizona has shown spunk all season and I like them to edge it out at home.
First place on the line in the NFC West, Arizona needs a win if it doesn’t want Seattle to own the tiebreaker. After its offense struggled in the first matchup, Arizona’s offense exploits the Seattle defense to gain control of the division.
