Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 12 game

The Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2) are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, and they’ll kick off the Week 12 slate with a visit to the Cleveland Browns (2-8) on “Thursday Night Football.”

No matter how good Lamar Jackson is, the Steelers showed they still have the reigning MVP’s number after another victory over Baltimore. Sure, Pittsburgh only scored off the leg of Chris Boswell, but the defense proved yet again it is one of the best in the league. Pittsburgh’s win streak is now at five as it continues a four-game stretch against division opponents.

Cleveland will be glad to see Taysom Hill no longer after the do-it-all tight end ran in the endzone three times in a convincing win over the visiting Browns. There isn’t much left to play for in Cleveland, but the hometown crowd would love nothing more than to spoil the win streak of a bitter rival.

Lorenzo Reyes: Steelers 23, Browns 16

Pittsburgh’s defense has proved it’s one of the elite units in the NFL, and the Steelers are finding different ways of winning — even doing so without scoring touchdowns. Granted, that’s unsustainable, but the Steeler offense should pick up, and the team should roll.

Tyler Dragon: Steelers 21, Browns 13

The Steelers got a big AFC North win against the Ravens last week. Now they get to face the worst team in the division. Steelers QB Russell Wilson is 4-0 as a starter this season with a 94.4 passer rating.

Richard Morin: Steelers 19, Browns 17

Yes, the Steelers find ways to win ― but they also have a struggling offense no one seems to be talking about. They won last week without scoring a touchdown. I think Pittsburgh will pick up another victory here, but I’m wary of a spread of more than a field goal.

Jordan Mendoza: Steelers 23, Browns 13

The spread feels small given the polar opposites the two sides are, but Pittsburgh has a knack for playing in close games. However, the defense creates too many fits for Cleveland to make this a close game.
