The Philadelphia Eagles drafted Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell with the 22nd pick in the 2024 NFL draft. He was second in the country in passes defended and pass breakups in 2023. Here’s what to know about Mitchell.
Don’t fret about the level of competition. Mitchell has all the traits of a top-flight cornerback, with a preternatural sense for finding the ball in the air. He can hold up in either zone coverage or man, though he’ll likely need more reps in the latter, particularly when asked to press. — Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz
