NFL Week 12 Overreactions

Sports Seriously
Arguably the game of Week 13 could be a Super Bowl preview with the Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) going up against the Baltimore Ravens (8-4).
Can anyone stop Saquon Barkley? Philadelphia’s running back made another case for MVP when he ripped apart the Los Angeles Rams for the team’s seventh-straight win. The Eagles are starting to run away with the NFC East title, but Sunday will be a solid measuring stick of whether it can get past one of the best rush defenses in the league.
What’s something that could help you overcome a tough loss? Beat up on little brother. John Harbaugh again got the best of his younger brother when the Ravens comfortably took down the Los Angeles Chargers on “Monday Night Football” to get back on the winning track. Now they have a major test coming into town in a big-time matchup.

Philadelphia is playing extremely balanced football, though the rushing game is the anchor. Baltimore’s defense has some holes. Roquan Smith’s availability could be problematic, too. I think the wrong team is favored here, even on the road.
This is the game of the week featuring two running backs in ideal situations. Saquon Barkley had one of the best performances by a running back in NFL history last week. The Eagles have the NFL’s top total defense. Philly’s defense should make the difference.
Lamar Jackson. Jalen Hurts. Derrick Henry. Saquon Barkley. If you like teams who run the football ― and run it exceptionally well ― then this game should produce fireworks. In terms of a prediction, though, I have to say I like the Ravens at home.
Derrick Henry vs. Saquon Barkley is going to be must-see TV. While it’s a battle between the top rushing offenses in the league, Baltimore is better and stopping the run. It’s a shootout, but the Ravens do just enough to win a thriller.
