Patriots at Cardinals: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 15 game

play

Despite being on a three-game losing skid, the Arizona Cardinals (6-7) still have a shot at making the playoffs, but they’ll need to turn the recent misfortune around when the New England Patriots (3-10) visit.

Fresh off the bye week, New England enters the week eliminated from playoff contention, but with still plenty to play for. It has lost three straight, but Drake Maye continues to show progress as a rookie, and the team is now looking for what it wants to keep as the rebuild of the once-powerful team continues.

Usually, when a good starter like Kenneth Walker is out, teams can capitalize on injuries. But the Cardinals had no answers for Zach Charbonnet after he ran all over the Arizona defense for the Seattle Seahawks’ second win over the divisional foe. Things have quickly gone south for the Cardinals, but it’s not panic time − yet.

Lorenzo Reyes: Cardinals 28, Patriots 17

I’ve liked what Arizona has done this season, and this is a spot where I think the Cardinals can snap a three-game losing streak. More than anything, I have a hard time seeing the Patriot offense keeping pace with the Cards.

Tyler Dragon: Cardinals 24, Patriots 21

The Cardinals are on the outside looking in of the playoffs after a Week 14 loss to Seattle. Arizona can’t afford to lose two home games in a row before a mini-road trip.

Richard Morin: Patriots 23, Cardinals 17

Christian Gonzalez has done a great job taking away No. 1 receivers all season. How much damage can Arizona do if Marvin Harrison Jr. is locked down?

Jordan Mendoza: Cardinals 23, Patriots 16

Arizona is in desperate need of a win with not much time left to catch up in the NFC West. New England will give the Cardinals some problems but look for a big game from Marvin Harrison Jr. to help power the team toward a much-needed victory.
