Weah was shown the red card after showing a Panama player in the head in the 18th minute. Soon after, Folarin Balogun got his shorthanded squad on the board with a beautiful strike from the corner of the box, only for Panama to equalize less than four minutes later. 

The U.S. will now try to become the first team to win a Copa América match after having a player sent off in the opening 20 minutes since 1989.
