Models, celebrities and turned out in statement-making denim looks during New York Fashion Week.
Ksubi’s party celebrating the redesign of its New York City flagship brought out models and rappers in bold denim. The unofficial dress code for the party was cropped Trucker jackets, distressed jeans and double denim looks.
The style was more ’90s at Old Navy’s party celebrating its 30th anniversary Reissue collection. Old Navy creative director Zac Posen and members of pop group Hanson wore straight fit blue jeans with carpenter jeans and logo T-shirts. Other guests opted for cropped denim tops, bleached jeans and flare jeans.
At the iconic eatery Mr. Chow’s, Framed welcomed guests like Joan Smalls and Amelia Gray Hamlin to a private dinner celebrating the launch of a new campaign starring TikToker Alix Earle. Slouchy jeans and leather were a popular pairing at the event.
Jeans with cutouts, leg-revealing maxi skirts and crystal-embellished denim were some of the street style standouts.
However, there were plenty examples of classic blue jeans. Claudia Schiffer joined fellow supermodel Helena Christensen at the Coach x Perfect Magazine party dressed in relaxed blue jeans and a white tee—the blueprint outfit for off-duty models.
The Tommy Hilfiger runway show, held on a decommission Staten Island Ferry famously owned by Pete Davidson and Colin Jost, also brought out stars dressed in classic denim to match the location’s nautical theme.
