We are just five weeks away from the conclusion of the NFL regular season. Only two playoff spots have been secured and only four teams have been eliminated from the postseason. There is a cluster in the middle of the league, each team vying to get into the playoffs.
Now, more than ever, teams on the outside looking in need to step their game up. We’re talking about teams like the San Francisco 49ers, who have suffered two straight humiliating losses. Now, they get a much more winnable matchup against the Chicago Bears. However, the Bears nearly defeated the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. They proved much better than the 49ers in Week 13 and have an extra three days of rest. Then, there’s a team like the Atlanta Falcons, who looked to be Super Bowl contenders early in the season but have fallen apart like a cracker at a cheap restaurant.
There are a lot of spots in the playoffs still up for grabs, but very few teams left standing will wind up with them. Here are the odds and lines for every Week 14 NFL game.
