The midway point of the 2024 NFL season has come and gone, and the contenders and pretenders are starting to emerge more clearly heading into Week 10 of the schedule.

The slate this week begins with a fascinating Thursday night game between AFC North rivals when the Baltimore Ravens try to keep pace atop the division against the Cincinnati Bengals, who might need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The New York Giants and Carolina Panthers, meanwhile, will play the season’s first Germany game in Munich to start Sunday’s action.

There’s also a key AFC West matchup featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, while the Houston Texans get to host a marquee primetime game when they face the Detroit Lions on Sunday night this week.

It’s shaping up to be another impactful week as the teams that are actually capable of a postseason run continue to assert themselves.

NFL analysts are already weighing in on what might happen. Here is an early look at picks and predictions for the games that make up the Week 10 schedule:

NFL Week 10 game predictions, picks

Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Monday, Nov. 4

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens

  • Date: Thursday, Nov. 7
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
  • Location: M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore)
  • TV: None
  • StreamingAmazon Prime Video
  • Spread: Ravens (-6.5)

∎ Action Network: Bengals have upset potential

“In these teams’ first matchup earlier this season, Burrow threw for 392 yards and five touchdowns. The Ravens rank in the bottom quarter in the league in terms of defending the pass, and this Cincinnati offense is hitting its stride. … This should be one of the best Thursday Night Football games we’ll get this season, and it makes up well for a Bengals team that is thriving offensively and needs this win.”

∎ Covers.com: Take the over

“The Bengals rank among the most explosive attacks in the land but have to put up all those points to make up for a dog-(expletive) defense that has given up 24 points or more in six of those nine outings. The Baltimore Ravens are right there with Cincy in scoring prowess, hanging some serious numbers on the board since snapping out their two-week slumber to start the season.”

New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Location: Allianz Arena (Munich, Germany)
  • TV: NFL Network
  • Streaming: NFL+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Giants (-4.5)

∎ Pro Football Network: Giants 23, Panthers 20

“Both offenses have struggled, with the Giants ranking 30th and the Panthers 26th. Meanwhile, New York’s defense is the best unit on the field, ranking 15th compared to Carolina in last. That should give the Giants an advantage against a young Panthers offense that has blown hot and cold. … The Panthers offense under Bryce Young is improved in his second stint as the starter, but the bar was extremely low at the start of the season.”

∎ Arizona Republic: Panthers 21, Giants 17

“Bryce Young and company surprised us with the win over the New Orleans Saints. A win over the struggling Giants (losers of four straight) would not surprise us.”

New England Patriots at Chicago Bears

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Soldier Field (Chicago)
  • TV: FOX
  • Streaming: NFL+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Bears (-6.5)

∎ Betting Pros: Patriots (+6.5)

“The Bears are only 4-4. They’ve lost two consecutive games and have scored no more than 15 points in either game. There’s no reason, even at home, the Bears should be 6.5-point underdogs. New England has kept games close, and Chicago has struggled to score points consistently.”

∎ Pro Football Network: Bears 27, Patriots 17

Taking the Bears by seven points is scary, given they have only scored 24 points in the last two weeks. However, they have shown the ability to blow bad teams out, scoring 71 combined points against the Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars while allowing just 26. Taking the Bears at home is the play here.”

Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis)
  • TV: CBS
  • Streaming: NFL+, Paramount+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Bills (-4.5)

∎ Arizona Republic: Bills 27, Colts 21

“You can expect the Colts to be in every game they play, as all nine of their games have been decided by eight points or less this season. We just don’t expect them to be able to beat Josh Allen and the Bills.”

∎ Pro Football Network: Bills 27, Colts 17

“Assuming they don’t shoot themselves in the foot, the Bills should be too much for the Colts in this matchup. They have an edge on both sides of the ball; even being on the road shouldn’t be enough to level the playing field.”

Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: EverBank Stadium (Jacksonville, Florida)
  • TV: FOX
  • Streaming: NFL+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Vikings (-4)

∎ Arizona Republic: Jaguars 24, Vikings 21

“Yes, the Jaguars are 2-7, but they are 2-2 when they are the home team and this game is at EverBank Stadium. Trevor Lawrence will have a big day in Jacksonville.”

∎ Pro Football Network: Vikings 27, Jaguars 20

“The Minnesota Vikings were far from convincing on Sunday Night Football, but they ultimately won despite their offensive missteps. The underlying metrics still tell us that this is a top-five team that is just having a tough few games coming out of the bye.”

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City, Missouri)
  • TV: CBS
  • Streaming: NFL+, Paramount+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Chiefs (-9.5)

∎ ESPN: Go with the Broncos

“This line is artificially juiced by the Chiefs being undefeated (ahead of Monday’s game at Tampa Bay) and the Broncos being blitzed by the Ravens by 31 points Sunday. Those two facts mask the fact that the Chiefs have rarely won in blowout fashion this season and the Broncos rarely get blown out.”

∎ Arizona Republic: Chiefs 27, Broncos 15

“The Chiefs will be coming off a short week, but the Broncos are coming off getting routed by the Baltimore Ravens. Denver rookie Bo Nix is going to experience some more growing pains in Kansas City.”

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans)
  • TV: FOX
  • Streaming: NFL+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Falcons (-3.5)

∎ Covers.com: Bet on the Falcons

“Atlanta edged New Orleans 26-24 in Week 3 but is in a much better place at this point in the season. And it’s safe to say the Saints are in a darker one. While the Falcons have rattled off wins in five of their last six, NOLA drags a seven-game losing skid back to the Superdome.”

∎ Pro Football Network: Falcons 24, Saints 20

“This game is likely to be close, but the Falcons should have too much for this version of the Saints.”

San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Raymond James Stadium (Tampa, Florida)
  • TV: FOX
  • Streaming: NFL+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: 49ers (-6.5)

∎ ESPN: Niners cover the spread

“San Francisco is coming off the bye week, while Tampa Bay will be turning around on six days’ rest after playing Monday night in Kansas City, so the spot screams ’49ers.’ In addition, the Niners are getting healthy and this game could feature the season debut of Christian McCaffrey.”

∎ Action Network: Roll with the 49ers

“The bye week came at the right time for the 49ers, who have dealt with injuries to key players on offense all season. Speaking of injuries, the Buccaneers are going to remain without wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin here. In addition to that, they’ll be facing the 49ers on a short week after Monday Night Football against the Chiefs.”

Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Northwest Stadium (Landover, Maryland)
  • TV: CBS
  • Streaming: NFL+, Paramount+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Commanders (-2.5)

∎ Pro Football Network: Steelers 23, Commanders 22

“What this could ultimately come down to is that the Commanders are a middling team when it comes to red-zone offense but a poor team defending it. Meanwhile, the Steelers are below-average offensively in the red zone but excellent defensively. That gives them enough advantage.”

∎ Arizona Republic: Steelers 21, Commanders 20

“The Commanders have an NFC-best 263 points. The Steelers have only allowed 119 points, second-best in the AFC. Defense will win out in this one.”

Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 4:05 p.m. ET
  • Location: SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, California)
  • TV: FOX
  • Streaming: NFL+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Chargers (-7.5)

∎ Arizona Republic: Chargers 24, Titans 13

“The Los Angeles Chargers are currently in position for a playoff berth in the AFC. Justin Herbert and company will strengthen that position with a dominant win against Tennessee.”

∎ Pro Football Network: Chargers 24, Titans 13

“The thought of backing the Chargers’ offense to score enough points to cover an 8.5-point line is scary, but they’ve won by more than 10 four times this season when facing lesser teams. Will Levis could be back for Tennessee, which only enhances the urge to take Los Angeles laying the points this week.”

New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Location: State Farm Stadium (Glendale, Arizona)
  • TV: CBS
  • Streaming: NFL+, Paramount+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Cardinals (-1)

∎ Pro Football Network: Jets 23, Cardinals 20

“The Jets’ strength has been their defense, which ranks fifth on the season after getting back on track last week. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have leaned on their seventh-ranked offense while facing the hardest schedule to this point. With a strong offense meeting a strong defense … motivation might be key, and the Jets are in ‘can’t lose’ territory, which could make the difference in the end.”

∎ Arizona Republic: Cardinals 23, Jets 22

“Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have won three in a row and they lead the NFC West, but face a Jets team coming off a mini-bye after playing on Thursday Night Football in NFL Week 9. We could be in for a thriller.”

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas)
  • TV: CBS
  • Streaming: NFL+, Paramount+, YouTube TV (NFL Sunday Ticket) or Fubo
  • Spread: Eagles (-7)

∎ Pro Football Network: Eagles 27, Cowboys 17

“Dallas is 0-3 at home this season and has struggled mightily in all three. And with an injury concern for Dak Prescott, it’s impossible to back them. If Prescott ends up missing time, this line could move dramatically to the Eagles, so now is the time to back them.”

∎ Arizona Republic: Eagles 27, Cowboys 17

“Are the Cowboys really this bad? They’ve lost three straight and are somehow 0-3 at home. We can’t pick them to beat Saquon Barkley and an Eagles team that has won four in a row.”

Detroit Lions at Houston Texans

  • Date: Sunday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 8:20 p.m. ET
  • Location: NRG Stadium (Houston)
  • TV: NBC
  • StreamingPeacockFubo
  • Spread: Lions (-3)

∎ ESPN: Texans are a good pick

“The Lions will have to hit the road for the second week in a row. They head to Houston to take on a Texans team that has a mini-bye, considering Houston played Thursday night. Extra time allows the Texans to get healthier. Will Anderson Jr. is dealing with an ankle sprain, and the team hopes to get Nico Collins back into the mix. C.J. Stroud plays better at home than on the road and won’t face as much pressure against the Lions pass rush without Aidan Hutchinson.”

∎ Covers.com: Think about the Texans if line rises

“That point spread isn’t just Detroit’s popularity but also the nasty stink a loss to the Jets leaves on the Houston Texans. Houston has a mini-bye to get right and get healthy, with WR Nico Collins expected back and Will Anderson getting added time to recover from an ankle sprain.”

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams

  • Date: Monday, Nov. 11
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
  • Location: SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, California)
  • TV: ESPN
  • Streaming: ESPN+, Fubo
  • Spread: Rams (-2.5)

∎ Arizona Republic: Dolphins 27, Rams 23

“The Dolphins have suffered two close losses since Tua Tagovailoa’s return from injury. They will break free for a victory here, ending the Rams’ three-game win streak.”

∎ Pro Football Network: Rams 27, Dolphins 24

“The issue right now is whether you trust the Dolphins to close out a game. They’ve fallen short in the past two weeks, while the Rams have been very good in clutch spots recently, coming out with three relatively tight wins.”
