Since replacing Reebok in 2012, Nike has produced the uniforms for all NFL teams and following the latest contract extension between the sportswear giant and the NFL, will continue to do so through to 2038.
Upon concluding the latest chapter in the venture, Nike President and CEO, Elliot Hill claimed: âThis partnership renewal is a testament to the strength and success of our collaboration with the NFLâ.
âAs we embark on this new chapter, weâre committed to co-creating cutting-edge solutions that meet the rapidly changing needs of NFL athletes and fans, while fueling the leagueâs growth and development initiatives.â
NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, added: âNike has been an invaluable partner since 2012 and we couldnât be more excited to have them onboard for years to come.â
âIn addition to their products and services for our clubs, players, or fans, Nike is a strategic partner who will help us grow football internationally, support youth football and make advances in player safety.
âThe renewal of this partnership will truly have a lasting impact on the game of football at all levels both here in the United States and around the world.â
