Break out the turducken!

The Dallas Cowboys are back on primetime for Thanksgiving as they face their divisional foes, the New York Giants. Both teams are working with backup quarterbacks at this point in the season: Cooper Rush for Dallas and Tommy DeVito for New York. Neither team is in contention for the playoffs at this point.

That said, there is still a lot of pride at stake for this matchup. Most notably, this game will probably determine who finishes last place in the NFC East. The Cowboys have not finished last in the division since 2015 and have only done so three times since the start of the 21st century. The Cowboys don’t like losing, but the Giants don’t like the Cowboys.

Here are our experts’ predictions for this Thanksgiving Day showdown.

Lorenzo Reyes: Cowboys 21, Giants 14

The Giants look like a team in disarray, one with a locker room that may be fraying. Tommy DeVito doesn’t provide much of a spark, as much as coach Brian Daboll was looking for that. And the Cowboys may have a little momentum coming off their upset.

Tyler Dragon: Cowboys 22, Giants 17

The Cowboys snapped a five-game losing streak last week. The win should give Dallas confidence against a struggling and divided Giants squad.

Richard Morin: Cowboys 27, Giants 13

The sun shouldn’t be in their eyes with the late-afternoon start, so I like Dallas to make it two in a row against the floundering Giants.

Jordan Mendoza: Cowboys 20, Giants 16

It’s a shame much of the country will be forced to watch this during Thanksgiving dinner. A bad Dallas team beats an even worse New York squad. Hopefully, there’s enough entertainment to make it worth watching.
