NFL Overreactions Week 4
Mackenzie Salmon breaks down some of the biggest games from NFL week 4.
Sports Seriously
“Monday Night Football” is headed to the home of the back-to-back Super Bowl champions with the Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) taking on the New Orleans Saints (2-2).
After a blazing start to the season, the Saints have dropped two games in a row, the most recent coming against the Atlanta Falcons. The offense has slowed down from its scoring frenzy the first two weeks, and now the team is facing the possibility of a losing record going into a hostile environment.
Even after a slow start and the loss of Rashee Rice, the Chiefs found another way to pull away with a win last week. They stayed undefeated by getting past the Los Angeles Chargers. Without another weapon for Patrick Mahomes, can Kansas City keep its perfect record alive?

FEELING LUCKY? Here are the best parlay bets and odds for NFL games this week
Falcons vs. Buccaneers | Vikings vs. Jets | Bears vs. Panthers | Bengals vs. Ravens | Texans vs. Bills | Jaguars vs. Colts | Patriots vs. Dolphins | Commanders vs. Browns | Broncos vs. Raiders | 49ers vs. Cardinals | Rams vs. Packers | Seahawks vs. Giants | Steelers vs. Cowboys | Chiefs vs. Saints
I think Kansas City is going to struggle to put up points without Rashee Rice. Travis Kelce isn’t the same threat in the red zone, which is where the Chiefs have struggled, ranking 24th in efficiency. The Saints, meanwhile, have the NFL’s top red zone defense. Even with the game in Arrowhead, I like New Orleans in an upset here.
Rashee Rice’s knee injury is a huge blow for Kansas City. Xavier Worthy and JuJu Smith-Schuster will be asked to fill the void. Plus, old reliable tight end Travis Kelce. The Chiefs are one of two undefeated teams remaining in the NFL. Their undefeated streak will continue this week. The Chiefs have won 10 in a row dating back to last season.
No matter what happens, Kansas City continues to find a way to win. The Saints have slowed down and the Chiefs defense will keep them in check to advance to 5-0.
