Sam Darnold’s MVP run continues, Ravens save season with win in Dallas
Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon ‘overreacts’ to the biggest news from Sunday’s slate of games.
Sports Seriously
Surprising NFC North squads meet at Lambeau Field with a clash between the Minnesota Vikings (3-0) and Green Bay Packers (2-1).
Who predicted the Vikings to be 3-0 after three weeks? Another solid opponent couldn’t muster much against skol nation after Minnesota shut down the Houston Texans in a no-doubt victory. Sam Darnold is playing like an MVP, and it’s hard to argue against the Vikings being one of the best teams in the NFL.
No Jordan Love, no problem so far for the Packers. Malik Willis got his revenge against his old team to move to 2-0 as the starting quarterback in Green Bay. It’s worked so far, but Willis will get his biggest test yet trying to match a high-scoring Minnesota offense.

FEELING LUCKY? Here are the best parlay bets and odds for NFL games this week
Giants vs. Cowboys | Falcons vs. Saints | Panthers vs. Bengals | Bears vs. Rams | Packers vs. Vikings | Texans vs. Jaguars | Colts vs. Steelers | Jets vs. Broncos | Buccaneers vs. Eagles | Cardinals vs. Commanders | 49ers vs. Patriots | Chargers vs. Chiefs | Raiders vs. Browns | Ravens vs. Bills | Dolphins vs. Titans | Lions vs. Seahawks
This is all going to depend on Jordan Love’s status. Definitely monitor this until the end, but if he goes, I think the Packers are a special team capable of beating anybody. It won’t be easy, as Brian Flores has Minnesota’s defense as one of the toughest tests in the league, but I like the Packers to cover as long as Love plays. If it ends up being Malik Willis, I’d flip this to the Vikings.
The Vikings are 3-0 for the first time since 2016. Justin Jefferson, a resurgent Sam Darnold and a defense that leads the NFL with 16 sacks are the reasons why Minnesota enters Week 4 undefeated. But Jordan Love is on track to return this week, which could lift the Packers to a victory at home.
Minnesota’s improbable unbeaten run comes to an end at Lambeau regardless of whether it’s Jordan Love or Malik Willis under center. I like the Packers and the points if the spread stays under a field goal.
Someone has to stop Minnesota right? Even though Green Bay is favored, Aaron Jones is going to be on a mission to silence the team that traded him away in his old stadium. The running back proves the Packers made a mistake to get his team to 4-0.
