U.S. News & World Report released its “Best Hospitals” for 2024-2025 and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), a founding member of the Mass General Brigham health care system, has again earned a spot on the annual Honor Roll. MGH also ranked #1 in the nation in psychiatry.
Of the nearly 5,000 hospitals evaluated, MGH has consistently placed among the top hospitals on the Honor Roll since its inception in 1990 and this year Mass General Brigham is honored to have five nationally ranked hospitals.
Several other Mass General Brigham hospitals were also honored by U.S. News & World Report. Brigham and Women’s Hospital once again earned a spot on the Honor Roll among the top hospitals in the country.
Three Mass General Brigham specialty hospitals – McLean Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation and Mass Eye and Ear – were recognized for national excellence. McLean Hospital was ranked #2 in the nation in psychiatry, Spaulding Rehabilitation is ranked #3 in rehabilitation and Mass Eye and Ear is #4 for ophthalmology and #6 for otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat care).
