The Los Angeles Rams will look to regroup with an NFC West showdown against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 of the NFL season.
The Rams (0-1) were in the Sunday Night Football spotlight but fell short against the Detroit Lions last weekend. Los Angeles will move forward after placing offensive linemen Steve Avila, Joe Noteboom and wide receiver Puka Nacua on the reserve/injured list.
Rams injury report: Cobie Durant held out, Rob Havenstein limited Wednesday
The Cardinals (0-1) are also coming off a season-opening road loss to the Buffalo Bills after giving up a 17-3 lead in the second half. Quarterback Kyler Murray was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice despite being listed on the injury report with a knee injury. There might be questions about what the protection in front of him will look like this week after placing offensive tackle Jonah Williams on injured reserve.
The Rams have won the last two meetings in the series against the Cardinals.

Tyler Dragon writes: “Arizona almost pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Week 1. The Cardinals will play teams tough. The loss of Puka Nacua hurts the Rams, but the Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp connection is officially back. The Rams swept the season series against Arizona last year.”
Jeremy Cluff writes “The line is close for this game, but we just don’t have much faith in the Cardinals’ defense. Maybe it will step up at home.”
Earnest Horn writes “Arizona will put up points at home, but we just watched the Rams offense humming against a tough Lions defense. The Rams are clearly the better football team, and we just aren’t ready to buy the Cardinals hype.”
