Sports Seriously
The Kansas City Chiefs are one of only two teams to have secured a playoff berth. However, they’ve yet to secure an AFC West division title. The quest for another division crown is well within grasp, holding a three-game lead over the Los Angeles Chargers. Even better, the Chiefs have already defeated the Chargers this season, meaning a win this weekend over their divisional foes would knock Los Angeles out of the race entirely.
Of course, the Denver Broncos would still have hope for a division title, but their odds would be slim to none, requiring the Chiefs to lose out. By most accounts, this game would give the division to Kansas City once again should they win.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this AFC West matchup.

The Chiefs have been the beneficiaries of exceptional luck, and the law of averages suggests that it won’t last forever. Kansas City hasn’t covered any of its last six games and the Chargers are physical on both lines of scrimmage. I think this is an excellent upset spot.
Nine of Kansas City’s victories have been by one score, including a Week 4 win over the Chargers. Don’t expect this game to be any different. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will find a way to win over LA. The Chargers have lost six in a row versus Kansas City.
This is undoubtedly the best matchup of the week. I think it stays close, but we all know how the Chiefs perform in primetime.
No matter how ugly it is, Kansas City just finds any way it can to win at home. Los Angeles’ defense does all it can do to limit Patrick Mahomes but it isn’t enough.
