NFL Week 16 picks: Consider Chiefs, Lions and Eagles this weekend
Lorenzo Reyes shares his best bets ahead of a long weekend of football games.
Polar opposites in the Detroit Lions (12-2) and the Chicago Bears (4-10) will meet once again in Week 16, this time in the windy City.
For once, it was Detroit on the opposite of a beatdown as the Buffalo Bills took care of the Lions at Ford Field to hand them their first loss in nearly three months. To make matters worse, Detroit got dealt more injury woes. It’s been frustrating, but the Lions remain a prime Super Bowl contender and will try to get back on track this week.
There was so much promise early in the season, but Chicago continues to spiral after a poor game on “Monday Night Football” pushed the losing streak to eight games. The Bears are looking for anything to provide hope, and that is possible when they face a team they narrowly lost to on Thanksgiving.
The Lions are favorites to defeat the Bears, according to the BetMGM NFL odds. Not interested in this game? Check out expert picks and best bets for every NFL game this week.
Chargers vs. Broncos | Chiefs vs. Texans | Ravens vs. Steelers | Bengals vs. Browns | Falcons vs. Giants | Bills vs. Patriots | Panthers vs. Cardinals | Bears vs. Lions | Colts vs. Titans | Jets vs. Rams | Commanders vs. Eagles | Seahawks vs. Vikings | Raiders vs. Jaguars | Dolphins vs. 49ers | Cowboys vs. Buccaneers | Packers vs. Saints
The Lions have been decimated by injuries, and now RB David Montgomery (knee) is out for the year. However, the Bears have lost eight games in a row.
The loss of David Montgomery will be devastating to the Detroit offensive attack. However, the Lions will take their anger stemming from last week’s loss on Chicago in a game that isn’t as close as the first meeting.
