(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Leviev joined designer Bach Mai as presenting partner of the Bach Mai Spring/Summer 2025 “Invincible Summer” fashion show on September 8, 2024, at New York City’s Chelsea Factory. For the jewelry house’s scintillating fashion week debut, Leviev paired fine jewelry with eleven Bach Mai runway looks. The collaborators also unveiled a co-designed Leviev x Bach Mai “Le Bal” high jewelry piece at the fashion week event – a remarkable 47-carat diamond necklace featuring a 32-carat fancy yellow diamond center stone.
Chagit Leviev, CEO of Leviev Group USA, “It is an honor to be a part of this New York Fashion Week event and to collaborate with Bach Mai, whose sophisticated, colorful, and exquisitely crafted fashions pair so beautifully with Leviev jewelry. We are proud to have made our own mark on fashion history with this design partnership and our work together on tonight’s landmark runway show.”
The Bach Mai Spring/Summer 2025 show, presented by Leviev, marked a joyous return to high glamour and bold color at New York Fashion Week. According to Bach Mai, “Leviev’s Beaton-inspired jewelry collection featured in the show perfectly captured the modern spirit I hoped to convey.”
The glamorous closing look of the show featured a dramatic Bach Mai gown and offered a first look at the partners’ co-designed “Le Bal” diamond necklace. The one-of-a-kind fine jewelry piece, valued at $5 million, features a 32-carat Fancy Yellow pear-cut diamond center stone, complemented by an additional 15 carats of pavé-set diamonds, all set in 18-karat yellow gold and platinum. Its alluring design showcases exceptional jewelry artistry, a unique Leviev diamond, and the feminine, extravagant forms seen throughout Bach Mai’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
Bach Mai: “I am so excited to be partnering with Leviev, a house deeply steeped in diamond heritage and jewelry savoir-faire. I can think of no better match for our couture-influenced gowns than the timeless elegance of Leviev’s diamond masterpieces. I have always had a love for fine jewelry, and the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing artisans at Leviev and their magnificent gems to create a unique and extraordinary piece of jewelry is a dream come true.”
The event culminated in a remarkable moment, as Bach Mai and Leviev paid homage to an iconic moment in fashion history – recreating Cecil Beaton’s iconic 1948 shoot of Charles James designs. Guests were invited into the tableau to closely admire the models clad in Leviev jewelry and Bach Mai designs.
Leviev, the high jewelry house led by Chagit Leviev and Greg Sofiev, curated a special Beaton-inspired jewelry jewelry collection for the occasion. Each of the exquisite jewelry designs, named after Cecil Beaton and many of the models featured in iconic 1948 shoot, showcases the extraordinary breadth and expertise of Leviev and the world’s rarest colorless diamonds and fancy color diamonds. Altogether, the Leviev collection presented is valued well over $50 million and represents countless thousands of carats of diamonds.
Saudi princess and fashion entrepreneur Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz was in attendance wearing a suite of Leviev jewelry. Actor Caylee Cowen, tech entrepreneur Lucy Guo, social influencer Amina Kadyrova also wore Leviev jewelry for the event. Other well-heeled attendees included Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Tanner Adell, Bailey Bass, and Jessica Wang. Actor and media personality Liza Koshy was among the models wearing a Leviev diamond necklace on the runway.
The Beaton-inspired Leviev jewelry collection and more high jewelry masterpieces may be seen at the Leviev private showroom on Fifth Avenue in New York City by private appointment.
