PARIS (France) – LeBron James and Kevin Durant climbed the all-time Olympics leaderboards of various stats throughout the group stage. The two United States veterans just kept rising in the Quarter-Finals including James pulling to number two in steals and third in assists.
James collected 12 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals in USA’s convincing 122-87 victory over Brazil. And Durant contributed 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.
With his 11 points, the 35-year-old Durant, who is shooting for his fourth Olympic gold, became the USA’s all-time leading scorer in the Olympics, men’s or women’s, moving past Lisa Leslie’s 488 points.
James is close to becoming the all-time steals king of the Olympics as his 3 steals pushed into sole possession of second place with 41 – just two behind leader Andrei Kirilenko. Durant meanwhile pulled even with Pablo Prigioni of Argentina for ninth place.

James has really impressed in France with his playmaking and he dished out a team-high 9 assists – the third game he was tops on the USA team in dimes – for 119 all-time.
