Latest Alabama football rankings: Where Crimson Tide ranks in US LBM Coaches Poll Week 13

Alabama football took care of business Saturday afternoon in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

In the Crimson Tide’s annual meeting with an FCS opponent, Alabama beat Mercer 52-7 with two SEC games left in the 2024 regular season against Oklahoma and Auburn.

Alabama will travel to Norman to take on the Sooners at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday.

And the Crimson Tide will do so as a top-10 team.

Alabama football rankings update

Alabama moved up to No. 7 in the latest Coaches Poll Sunday. The Crimson Tide is one of seven teams in the top-25 along with No. 3 Texas, No. 8 Georgia, No. 9 Ole Miss, No. 11 Tennessee, No. 14 Texas A&M and No. 19 South Carolina

According to the latest Coaches Poll, Alabama has wins against two top-25 opponents. Neither Oklahoma nor Auburn, the Crimson Tide’s final two SEC opponents, are ranked.

Alabama also landed at No. 7 in the latest AP Poll.

Alabama landed at No. 10 in the second College Football Playoff rankings released last Tuesday. The Crimson Tide was one of four SEC teams in the top-12 seeds along with No. 3 Texas, No. 7 Tennessee and No. 11 Ole Miss.
