In the AFC West, everyone is chasing the Kansas City Chiefs, so the Denver Broncos (2-2) and Las Vegas Raiders (2-2) will try to gain ground when they meet in a classic divisional matchup.
Even without its stars, the Raiders found a way against the Cleveland Browns to regroup after an embarrassing loss to the Carolina Panthers. The ground game showed signs of life, taking pressure off Gardner Minshew to make the offense more efficient.
No offense? No problem in Denver. Bo Nix threw for only 60 yards, but the defense kept Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets out of the endzone to provide another shocking victory. Back at home, can the defense pave the way for a third-straight victory?

The Las Vegas locker room may be in an awkward state, with players like receiver Davante Adams disgruntled. Denver, meanwhile, has an elite defense and has won two in a row, even with pedestrian numbers from rookie quarterback Bo Nix. The Broncos are one of the early surprises of the NFL season, and have been a good play at 3-1 against the spread.

Davante Adams trade speculation is ramping up. Will Adams uncertain future in Las Vegas be a distraction? He’s undisputedly the team’s best player. Both these AFC West teams are looking toward the future while also trying to stay competitive.
Jordan Mendoza: Broncos 13, Raiders 9
The under is a great play in this one. Denver and Las Vegas have let down and surprised so far this season, it’s anyone’s guess as to who wins. But Denver’s defense has carried to wins no one saw coming. Bo Nix plays another clean game on offense to get a third-straight victory.
