NFL Week 12 picks: Why you should consider Broncos and Lions on Sunday
Lorenzo Reyes is back with his three best bets for Sunday’s games.
The Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) are no longer undefeated, but they’ll try to get back on the winning side when they visit the Carolina Panthers (3-7).
It took nearly a full calendar year, but the Chiefs have finally suffered a loss after Josh Allen carried the Buffalo Bills on his back for a big-time victory. It was very unlikely for Kansas City to finish the season perfectly, but there’s no reason to panic for a team still well-positioned to win a third-straight Super Bowl.
Fresh off a bye, Carolina returns to the field on a mini two-game win streak that should give some optimism to a struggling team. Bryce Young seems to have found some confidence as a starting quarterback, but he’ll have a really big test with the defending champions visiting North Carolina.

Browns vs. Steelers | Panthers vs. Chiefs | Bears vs. Vikings | Texans vs. Titans | Colts vs. Lions | Dolphins vs. Patriots | Giants vs. Buccaneers | Commanders vs. Cowboys | Raiders vs. Broncos | Packers vs. 49ers | Seahawks vs. Cardinals | Rams vs. Eagles | Chargers vs. Ravens
Kansas City, surprisingly, plays in many more close games than you would imagine. That said, Carolina’s roster simply cannot compete with the Chiefs, even if the Panthers have been better recently with Bryce Young under center.
The reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs faltered last week. But did anyone expect them to go undefeated? The Panthers are the perfect opponent for the Chiefs to rebound against. Kansas City wins easily.
This seems like a perfect get-right opportunity for the Chiefs after a tough loss in Buffalo. Still, Kansas City tends to play with its food. Be wary of the 11-point spread.
The spread seems too large since Kansas City doesn’t blow out opponents. However, they have way more talent than Carolina. The Chiefs shouldn’t have any struggles against the Panthers, and maybe the offense breaks out.
