Jets at Jaguars: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 15 game

Disappointment. That’s been the theme this season for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets this season.

The Jaguars were one of the first teams to be eliminated from playoff contention, and the Jets had playoff aspirations at the start of the year, but Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams haven’t been close to enough for the Jets to contend for a postseason spot.

It’s been tough sledding for both of these franchises, but neither wants to lose this weekend. Losing in Week 15 would be an enormous stain on an already tattered season. There is a lot of pride on the line, but one of these teams will leave Sunday in utter defeat.

Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 15 contest.

49ers vs. Rams | Panthers vs. Cowboys | Browns vs. Chiefs | Texans vs. Dolphins | Jaguars vs. Jets | Saints vs. Commanders | Giants vs. Ravens | Titans vs. Bengals | Cardinals vs. Patriots | Broncos vs. Colts | Lions vs. Bills | Chargers vs. Buccaneers | Eagles vs. Steelers | Seahawks vs. Packers | Vikings vs. Bears | Raiders vs. Falcons

Lorenzo Reyes: Jets 25, Jaguars 17

Frankly, I would avoid this game altogether, but New York should take this. That said, if you do want in on this, I’d wait until the status of Trevor Lawrence becomes more certain.

Tyler Dragon: Jets 24, Jaguars 19

A battle of two of the most disappointing teams in the NFL. Both these teams have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. The Jets have a more talented and healthier roster.

Richard Morin: Jets 13, Jaguars 9

I’d steer clear of this one.

Jordan Mendoza: Jets 24, Jaguars 17

There’s not much to play for other than pride in this one. Jacksonville is pretty banged up and Aaron Rodgers could use a smile this late in the season.
