Bills secure AFC East, Ravens continue with self-inflicted wounds
Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the top storylines from Week 13 in the NFL.
Sports Seriously
The AFC South is a two-horse race at this point between the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans are firmly at the bottom, and their contest this Sunday has only one prize on the line: pride.
The Jaguars have finished last in the AFC South in four of the last six seasons. The Titans, meanwhile, are looking to avoid finishing last-place for the second year in a row. These are two teams that have lived at the bottom of their division recently, and neither wants that distinction in 2024. There are not any playoff stipulations on the line. In fact, the Jaguars have already been eliminated and the Titans are one loss away from the same fate. However, there is still something to compete for this weekend.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this AFC South showdown.

I would stay away from this game, and think the under is the best play, especially since Trevor Lawrence will almost certainly sit this one out.
The Jags will probably start Mac Jones with Trevor Lawrence likely in concussion protocol. That’s bad news for an already downtrodden Jacksonville club. The Titans aren’t good either but maybe home cooking will lift them in this one.
I guess you could call it an upset now that Trevor Lawrence is out of the picture. I think Mac Jones leads the Jaguars to victory in Tennessee.
If Trevor Lawrence was healthy, the Jaguars would be a confident pick in this one. But the struggles in Jacksonville continue while Will Levis gets a win to boost his confidence.
