NFL Overreactions Week 10
Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the wildest games in NFL Week 10.
Sports Seriously
The Jacksonville Jaguars may have started Mac Jones last week, but that didn’t stop them from nearly pulling off a massive upset against the Minnesota Vikings. While their offense was only able to put up 7 points, their defense did very well to keep Minnesota out of the end zone.
That said, their defensive luck could run thin against a team as efficient as the Detroit Lions. The Lions had an uncharacteristically bad week offensively in Week 10. Quarterback Jared Goff tossed five interceptions, but that didn’t stop Detroit from walking away with the win. If Goff can play that poorly and the Lions can still win, then they might be the most dangerous team in the NFL. That’s very bad news for the Jaguars.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 11 showdown.

Eagles vs. Commanders | Bears vs. Packers | Lions vs. Jaguars | Dolphins vs. Raiders | Patriots vs. Rams | Saints vs. Browns | Steelers vs. Ravens | Titans vs. Vikings | Jets vs. Colts | Broncos vs. Falcons | 49ers vs. Seahawks | Bills vs. Chiefs | Chargers vs. Bengals | Cowboys vs. Texans
Yes, this line is massive. But Detroit is playing complete football, winning games even when its starting quarterback throws five picks. I expect Jared Goff to be much better and I expect the Lions to clean a lot of things up.
Jared Goff threw a career-high five interceptions, but the Lions still managed to win. That’s a testament to the Lions’ entire football team. Expect a better performance by Goff against a reeling Jacksonville squad. Doug Pederson is another coach with a shaky job status.
What a disappointment of a season in Jacksonville. Hey, maybe Travis Hunter will help?
The only question in this game is if – and when – Dan Campbell decides to take the foot off the gas pedal. This one will be a laugher with Detroit easily getting its eighth-straight victory.
