The San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills are set for a snowy Week 13 clash as “Sunday Night Football” looks likely be particularly wintry.
San Francisco (5-6) will have to contend with one of the NFL’s best teams as well as snow showers, which are in the forecast for Sunday in upstate New York. They’re also going to have to recover from last week’s 38-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers, by some margin the team’s worst performance of 2024. With Brandon Allen stepping in at quarterback for the injured Brock Purdy (whose status remains in question for this game), the 49ers mustered just 44 rushing yards and struggled to solve the Packers’ defense.
As such, Buffalo (9-2) might just be licking its chops. The Bills are coming off a bye week that was preceded by six consecutive wins, and boast a Josh Allen-led offense that has scored 30-plus points in eight of 11 games this season. Buffalo’s biggest victory this season was arguably its last one, a 30-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs that serves as a statement to the rest of the AFC.
