This weekend’s U.S. graded-stakes calendar includes Kentucky Derby and Oaks qualifiers at Oaklawn that offer 50 points to the winners, with Timberlake returning in the Grade 2 Rebel and West Omaha starting in the Honeybee (G3).
And in the $20 million Saudi Cup (G1), White Abarrio, National Treasure and Saudi Crown lead a strong U.S. contingent.

White Abarrio will make his first start since winning the Breeders’ Cup Classic, facing the likes of Pegasus World Cup (G1) winner National Treasure and Saudi Crown, the gate-to-wire winner of the Louisiana (G3) last out. Lemon Pop brings a 14: 10-3-0 record to the contest, including a win last out in Japan’s Champions Cup (G1). The race will be drawn Wednesday, with the undercard drawn Tuesday.

Just Steel has finished second in two stakes starts this year, most recently in the Southwest (G2), ahead of three others entered here. Carbone was 2-for-2 before finishing seventh in the Southwest. Northern Flame is coming off an optional-claiming allowance where he led at every call and won by a neck.
