After the seventh week of NFL games, the Kansas City Chiefs remain the sole undefeated team in the league as the Detroit Lions defeated the Minnesota Vikings. Russell Wilson made his debut with the Pittsburgh Steelers, staking his claim as the QB1 with a dominant performance. Wide receivers Amari Cooper and Davante Adams made their debuts with their new teams, with Cooper‘s being a bit more impressive with the Bills than Adams’ with the Jets. Cooper led the team in targets and fantasy points and his first catch went for a touchdown. Adams, on the other hand, was off to a slow start but easier matchups are on the horizon.

Fantasy Week 7 top scorers – Quarterbacks
Two-time MVP, Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson led the quarterbacks in fantasy scoring this week with 34.44 points. He threw five touchdowns in their 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which made almost all the other Ravens’ skills players relevant in fantasy as well. Jackson put up 281 passing yards and now leads all qualified QBs in both passer rating (118) and rushing yards (455) through Week 7.

During the Lions’ victory over the Vikings, running back Jahmyr Gibbs ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns, including a 45-yard TD run. He finished as the top scorer amongst all RBs in Week 7 with 32 fantasy points.

He was targeted 14 times and will likely continue to see more targets with Watson on the sidelines.
