Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 12 game

Nobody appears to be able to stop the Detroit Lions (9-1). Could the Indianapolis Colts (5-6) put a stop to their momentum?

Nearly everyone expected Detroit to take care of the Jacksonville Jaguars, but people likely weren’t expecting the punishing 46-point defeat the Lions handed its opponent. Detroit has sent a message to the rest of the league that it won’t step off the gas pedal for anyone, and good luck to anyone who tries to prevent it.

Anthony Richardson came back to start for Indianapolis and he rewarded his team with a game-winning touchdown run against the New York Jets. It’s been a roller coaster of a season, but the Colts remain in the hunt for a playoff spot. What better way to boost your chances than take down the top-scoring team in the league?

NFL Week 12 odds, predictions and picks

Browns vs. Steelers | Panthers vs. Chiefs | Bears vs. Vikings | Texans vs. Titans | Colts vs. Lions | Dolphins vs. Patriots | Giants vs. Buccaneers | Commanders vs. Cowboys | Raiders vs. Broncos | Packers vs. 49ers | Seahawks vs. Cardinals | Rams vs. Eagles | Chargers vs. Ravens

Lorenzo Reyes: Lions 37, Colts 17

Detroit is the most complete team in football and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson has built a diverse and efficient unit. The Colts rank 28th in rushing defense and 26th in passing defense. I don’t see Indianapolis coming close to matching Detroit’s offensive production.

Tyler Dragon: Lions 28, Colts 18

Anthony Richardson deserves credit for playing better after being reinserted back into the starting lineup. The Colts are quietly in the AFC playoff hunt. But the Lions might be the best team in football right now. Detroit is riding an NFL-best, eight-game winning streak.

Richard Morin: Colts 29, Lions 27

Yep, I’ve got the upset special here. Anthony Richardson looked like a new man last week and I’m counting on him to ball out at home against a team some think is the Super Bowl favorite from the NFC.

Jordan Mendoza: Lions 31, Colts 13

Indianapolis doesn’t have all that great of a defense, which means Jared Goff and company have to be eagerly waiting to put up another electric performance. Detroit gets another easy victory to get to 10 wins.
