Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley continue to prove why they are each deserving of this season’s MVP award.
Sports Seriously
Fresh off clinching a fifth consecutive AFC East title, the Buffalo Bills are heading to Los Angeles for a battle with the Rams.
In doing so, they might be getting a key piece of their offense back in the fold. Dalton Kincaid, who hasn’t played since Week 10, returned to the practice field ahead of the team’s Week 14 showdown.
Now the focus shifts to locking down the AFC’s top seed, so getting back the second-year tight end could be a big boost for a surging offense.
With just a few weeks to go in the regular season, Buffalo will want to keep rolling. Here’s the latest on Kincaid’s Week 14 status:
After being listed as a DNP ahead of Week 13, Kincaid returned to the practice field on Wednesday in limited fashion, repeating that on Thursday and Friday. He is officially listed as questionable for Week 14.
An upgrade would have been the best sign, but Buffalo is likely trying to play it safe with the second-year tight end, considering they’ve already locked in a postseason spot.
Kincaid should play a big role in the Bills‘ offense when he returns, especially with the arrival of Amari Cooper at the trade deadline. It’s a mystery whether his usage would be impacted, considering Buffalo already clinched the AFC East. With an eye toward the playoffs, the team will want him at full strength as they try to make a Super Bowl run.
Kincaid suffered the injury in Week 10 against the Colts. He exited and later returned before exiting again. That remains the last game action seen from Kincaid. The tight end attempted to make a catch on a slightly overthrown ball from Josh Allen in the red zone for what would have been a big gain and a potential touchdown. The second-year tight end exited after coming down hard following the incomplete pass.
Kincaid has totaled 34 catches, 356 yards and two touchdowns through 10 games in 2024. The tight end turned in 73 catches, 673 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games last season.
