Bills secure AFC East, Ravens continue with self-inflicted wounds
Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the top storylines from Week 13 in the NFL.
Sports Seriously
The tragic tale of the Cincinnati Bengals‘ 2024 season continued in Week 13. Although the team’s offense has scored at least 30 points in five games this year, the team is 1-4 in those contests. Between the subpar defense, bad luck, and questionable coaching, the Bengals have found themselves nearly eliminated from playoff contention with just five weeks to play.
Luckily, they get a matchup against a weak Dallas Cowboys team this Monday night. In primetime, the Bengals will have the opportunity to announce that they aren’t going anywhere and that so long as they have Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins, they will continue to kick and fight until they can’t any longer.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 14 showdown.

I would stay away from this game altogether, but the Bengals have been one of the unluckiest teams in the NFL this season. I will just back the team with the far better production at quarterback.
Every game for the Bengals is a must-win if they want to keep their very slim playoff chances alive. The Cowboys are playing for pride at this point, but they’ve won two games in a row.
The Cowboys may not be the worst team in the NFL after all, but they certainly aren’t better than the Bengals.
Cincinnati’s season is all but over, but the Bengals are much more talented than Dallas. Joe Burrow lets out all of his frustrations and gives the Cowboys another home loss.
