Chiefs at Browns: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 15 game

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the most confusing teams in the NFL this year. Sure, they’re 12-1 with the No. 1 seed in the AFC all but locked up. However, they’ve achieved their record with narrow victories over teams we’d expect to see them dominate. Their only loss of the season was by double digits, and that’s been a rare sight in the Patrick Mahomes era.

The Cleveland Browns could take advantage. Sure, they haven’t been great but they’ve been fun to watch. They have also battled close with strong teams like the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers lately, even earning a win over the latter. The Chiefs’ luck is likely to run out sooner or later and a disappointing loss could be in the books this weekend.

Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 15 showdown.

Lorenzo Reyes: Chiefs 26, Browns 17

Kansas City hasn’t covered a single game in its last seven, so the law of averages indicates that the Chiefs are due. The Browns rank 29th in giveaways, so I think this is an opportunity for the Chiefs’ defense to be aggressive.

Tyler Dragon: Chiefs 24, Browns 17

The two-time defending champion Chiefs can play any style, and they find ways to win. The Browns are an inferior opponent, but Cleveland’s defense won’t make the game a cakewalk.

Richard Morin: Chiefs 33, Browns 28

How will the Chiefs win this one?

Jordan Mendoza: Chiefs 26, Browns 24

Kansas City is horrible at covering the spread. Even though they are better than the Browns on paper, the Chiefs still struggle to find their way toward a win.
