So far, the Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) are looking like a top Super Bowl contender. The Carolina Panthers (3-9) can’t say the same, but they can take a major step forward by going on the road and shocking the NFL.
Don’t let the record fool you: Carolina is making great strides in its rebuild. The team could very well have five wins, but they fell just short against much better opponents. Bryce Young is starting to show progress, and it may be a matter of time before he captures a signature win in his young career.
In the game of the week, it was Philadelphia that went into hostile territory and left with a big win over the Baltimore Ravens. The team left little doubt that it is one of the top teams in the league, and good luck to anyone in the path of Saquon Barkley and company.

Philadelphia is on an absolute heater, and the Eagles should win this game relatively drama-free, but the Panthers have been playing better football. This is just a massive line, and Philadelphia’s ball-control offense could keep scoring down, somewhat.

The Eagles continue to fly high. Saquon Barkley, who leads the NFL in rushing, is an MVP front-runner. Bryce Young’s improvement since returning to the starting lineup has been a feel-good story this season. Young’s shown that he can be Carolina’s franchise QB.
Richard Morin: Eagles 35, Panthers 12
The conditions will be favorable for the Eagles’ offense in Philadelphia. Another blowout here.
Jordan Mendoza: Eagles 31, Panthers 20
Philadelphia is rolling and it shouldn’t face too many issues when it hosts Carolina. The Eagles won’t have any problems by the fourth quarter, but don’t be surprised if Carolina hangs around longer than expected. The spread seems too large.
