  • Conducting research and gathering information on horses in sales, including creating Passports, analyzing pas performances, speed figures, and replays.
  • Communicating with clients at sales.
  • Proficiency in marketing, and content creation, with a solid understanding of tools like Canva.
  • Managing and maintaining social media and the website for both ELiTE and BSW/Crow.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends when required.
  • Hands-on experience with horses is a plus but not required.

The Recruitment and Sales Associate’s purpose is to increase the exposure and awareness of Inglis Digital USA while targeting specific horses and clients to support our online sales. Specific focus will be placed on horses of racing age and customers based on the racetrack.

Duties And Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with industry participants in order to grow the client base of Inglis Digital USA
• Conduct recruitment activities to ensure a steady pipeline of buyers and sellers
• Develop leads and targets to share with the Inglis Digital USA team
• Participate in strategic planning and execution of recruitment initiatives with the Inglis Digital USA team
• Regularly attend race meetings and morning workouts as a representative of the Inglis Digital USA team
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Sales and Recruitment and CEO

Education And Skill Requirements:
• Applicant recommended to have 3-5 years of experience in thoroughbred sales
• A strong understanding of both the racing and breeding industry in North America and global markets
• Basic knowledge and ability to operate Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and any other basic IT
• Ability to travel to race meetings and sales across the country

Position Type/Compensation:
• This position can be full or part-time depending on the applicant
• This position can be remote or Kentucky-based
• Compensation will be based on applicant experience and the number of hours of expected to work

Analyst responsibilities include:

• Participate and assist in Analytics used in evaluating yearlings, 2yos in training, and breeding stock.

• Assist in our 2yo sales ProStride™ stride data analytics and processing.

• Support senior staff in research and database activities.

• Contribute to ongoing product development.

• Opportunity to participate in selection activities at Auctions.

Qualifications:

• Must have working background in the Thoroughbred industry.

• Hands-on horse experience – horses in training and yearlings preferred, ideally in an assistant or foreman capacity.

• Experience in conformation evaluations.

• Knowledge of current racing and breeding trends.

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office Suites Programs.

• Research and database skills essential.

Must be able to travel and participate in the weekend work required for auctions.

Must live in the Lexington, KY area.

Assistant Broodmare Manager
Reproductive Division

The Assistant Broodmare Manager will work directly with and under the direction of the Broodmare Manager and the COO, Dr. Modesty Burleson. The ideal candidate will possess a positive and energetic attitude and be able to work in a fast paced and diverse environment.

Work schedule: 6 day work week; 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Responsibilities:
– Daily horse care for broodmares, foals, yearlings, and young horses
– Assist in barn with feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, and daily turnout
– Assist with veterinary work and farrier
– Maintain and update treatment sheets, medical records, and farrier schedule
– Administer medications, assist with vaccinations, and bandage horses as needed
– Client communication, including foal photos and videos
– Maintain inventory and help order veterinary and barn supplies
– Participate in teaching and organizing working students and externs

Compensation Package:
– Starting wage commensurate with experience
– 100% employer-paid health insurance for employee and immediate family, including vision and dental coverage
– 15 paid time off days after 90 day probation period
– 401k Retirement Plan with 4% match
