Best place to live in the US has been revealed in a survey and it is not New York, Washington D.C, Los Angeles. Florida’s Naples have been identified for the top spot, as per survey by Best Places US News Rankings 2024-2025 conducted by U.S. News & World Report.Second spot has gone to Boise in Idaho, third position goes to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Greenville in South Carolina, and North Carolina’s Charlotte have made the top five rankings.

Raleigh in North Carolina, Huntsville of Alabama, Virginia Beach in Virginia, Texas’ Austin, and Boulder in Colorado have all made to the top ten.

Although the South dominated the top 10 rankings, Colorado secured a second spot with the inclusion of Boulder, as highlighted in the report.

The outlet announced a shift in its analytical approach, opting to focus on “city-based data” rather than “metropolitan area-based data.” This adjustment places greater emphasis on two key categories: value and job market measures, which are among the four main criteria used in their assessments, as per a Fox Report.

Meanwhile, record-low levels of sea ice around Antarctica in 2023 was made at least four times more likely by climate change, new research has found.
