Triple-doubles

LeBron James and Nikola Jokic produced the fourth and fifth-ever Olympic triple-doubles while competing in Paris.

James, having notched a triple-double previously at London 2012 (vs. Australia) became the first person ever to achieve the feat twice at an Olympic Games.

Kevin Durant: USA Basketball history

Durant, now the first four-time Olympic gold medallist in men’s Olympic basketball history, also wrote another record while on the hardcourt in Paris.

During the United States’ quarter-final against Brazil, the 35-year-old surpassed the legendary Lisa Leslie to become Team USA’s leading Olympic basketball scorer.

Durant finishes Paris with an Olympic career total of 518 points.

‘Chef’ Steph Curry: Saving the best until last

Curry had a comparatively slow start to his first-ever Olympic campaign in Paris, but once the 36-year-old found his feet the superstar was nigh unstoppable.

Curry scored 60 points across the semi-final and final, making 17-of-26 three-pointers to help the USA win their fifth consecutive Olympic crown.
