NFL Overreactions Week 10
Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the wildest games in NFL Week 10.
Sports Seriously
Through ten weeks of the 2024 NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have yet to play a divisional game. While they have fought their way to a stellar 7-2 record, their lack of experience against their divisional foes could be their downfall in the second half. The Cincinnati Bengals are obviously a terrific team despite their 4-6 record. The Cleveland Browns always seem to play the Steelers tough for some reason as well.
However, the Steelers will have an even tougher test this weekend, taking on the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens sit at 7-3, half a game behind the Steelers for first-place in the AFC North. They’re hungry for a division title, and they’ve gone 7-1 since their 0-2 start to the season. Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and company are not a team that will let Pittsburgh’s strong defense walk all over them.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this AFC North showdown.

Eagles vs. Commanders | Bears vs. Packers | Lions vs. Jaguars | Dolphins vs. Raiders | Patriots vs. Rams | Saints vs. Browns | Steelers vs. Ravens | Titans vs. Vikings | Jets vs. Colts | Broncos vs. Falcons | 49ers vs. Seahawks | Bills vs. Chiefs | Chargers vs. Bengals | Cowboys vs. Texans
I want to back Baltimore here, but the Ravens typically play division games close, especially ones against the Steelers. This will be a fun watch either way, but I just don’t trust the Ravens to cover games like these.
This is one of the marquee games of Week 11. Will the Steelers’ top-10 defense be able to slow down Baltimore’s No. 1 ranked offense? Lamar Jackson is having another MVP-caliber season. However, the Ravens need their defense to improve. I’m not sure the Steelers offense has the firepower to exploit a bad Baltimore pass defense.
Mike Tomlin’s Steelers just find ways to win, and it usually centers around solid game-planning around opposing offenses. Can they solve the Ravens’ riddle? I think so.
Lamar Jackson continues to play magnificent football and will his team win. The Steelers will take advantage of a struggling defense, but Baltimore gets the final score and wins another thriller.
